A Satisfied Pig or a Dissatisfied Socrates?

I think I was born a satisfied pig. I'm easily content with my situation and don't usually question what I am told. I am not usually one to sit and question or just ponder things either. I am inherently a doer. Nw that I look back I can see how I was a bit naive. A friend once poised a thought; most people are either a satisfied pig or dissatisfied Socrates. Personally I think that phrase itself is a bit biased, the choice of the word pig seems to imply being Socrates is better. And at times being content with the situation just seems easier (words of a true satisfied pig eh?)

But in recent years, I have realized that I have become more of a thinker. Think partly due to the company that I am surrounded by, but probably to do with growing up as well; having to make decisions, tears and smiles, meeting and loosing people.... For the last couple weeks thoughts have racing through my head, to a point where I know sometimes I am just dying to ramble to someone. I’ve realized that it’s probably due to the fact that my life as a student is finally coming to an end. There are many things to look back upon but also to look forward to. Hopefully this blog can be an outlet for my urge to ramble.

First, time for some food and good times with classmates. 2 more months!!

I'm a satisfied pig to friends, and a dissatisfied socrates for knowledge. As for life in general, it's yet to find out... ^_^
